Brighton & Hove Pride is very pleased to announce our Artist Small Grant Award 2022 which will be available for community artists to help them participate in local arts activities and to promote Pride’s inclusive ethos.

What can I apply for?

Awards of up to £250 are available to help individual artists or small community groups to cover the cost of developing a creative project for participation in Pride Brighton + Hove 2022 or other events in Brighton’s cultural calendar. This can include costs for costumes, instruments, artist fees and venue hire for performance, rehearsal or studio space.

  • Individual Artists
  • Community Groups
  • Voluntary or Charitable Organisations

What is the criteria?

In order to be considered for the grant, you should have a project in development and all applicants must;

  1. Be based in Brighton & Hove (or have a connection to the city)
  2. Be fully committed to cultural diversity and social inclusion in the arts
  3. Be able to demonstrate a proven track record of your arts practice

When is the deadline for my application?

All applications to the Pride Brighton + Hove Artist Small Grant Award must be received by Thursday 31th March 2022. A panel will select the winning entries and if successful you will be notified by email by 14th April 2022. Decisions are final and there will be no system of appeal.

How do I apply?

To apply please complete the application form no later than 5pm on 31st March 2022. Unfortunately, applications submitted after this deadline cannot be considered.
