Delivered by Ocean’s 8 Brighton, sponsored by Brighton Pride, supported by Brighton Watersports and The Bird & Blend Tea Co.

Whilst Pride don’t manage or organise events on the beach, we feel we all have a responsibility to keep our city clean, not just on Pride weekend but all year round. Our beaches are our city’s crowning glory and we are proud to have partnered with a number of other local community organisations to support and sponsor the first ever ‘Big Pride Silent Disco Beach Clean’ to be delivered by Ocean’s 8 Brighton, supported by Brighton Watersports and the Bird & Blend Tea Co.

Volunteers who complete a full  session can get a free ticket to Love BN1Fest as a huge thank you from us!

Due to phenomenal demand, all places are now filled and online sign-ups have now closed.

Please follow Oceans’s 8 Brighton‘s Facebook page for updates and future events.

Bird & Blend Tea Co. is a Brighton based independent, award winning, tea company on a mission to spread happiness & reimagine tea! Set up and run by Krisi and Mike just six year’s ago, their Gardner St. store is a staple for all Brighton tea fans!

We are incredibly proud to be supporting Brighton Pride this year with our flagship store being a hub for the Pride Clean up on Sunday. Come join us from 7am to start with a Street Clean & claim your free cup of tea for helping with the clean up. We will also be offering 10% discount on any purchases made by volunteers and to anyone who brings in an official Pride plastic cup into the store.

We are also proud to be offering free Iced Matchas to all beach clean volunteers to keep them going!

Brighton Watersports prides itself as a beacon of best practice on Brighton Beach. Our philosophy is to “Live Life Beyond the Shoreline” – we are so passionate about the ocean we are in it almost all day every day. Unfortunately when we are out we often come back with bags of litter that has found its way to the ocean after being left on the beach, so we are excited to support beach cleans along Brighton beach and the surrounding area. We are fanatical about keeping our beach and the oceans as clean as possible and deliver safety advice, beach cleans and educational seminars from the store in an attempt to better understanding and safety in the area. We also work closely with local businesses to guide us all towards a more sustainable, healthy eco-system.

Bupa Global’s HQ is based in the beautiful city of Brighton. As a local business we believe we have a responsibility to keep our city clean and so we’re really proud to co-sponsor with Brighton Pride the first ever Big Pride Silent Disco Beach Clean.

We know that healthy people need a healthy planet, which is why we carefully manage our environmental impact and promote positive practices. We’ve reduced our absolute carbon emissions year-on-year since 2009, and we continue to choose to produce and buy renewable energy where possible.

Our people are passionate about taking care of the planet and we’re making every effort to use recycled and reusable materials for our Pride float decorations. Look out for our rainbow paper flower wall at the parade, made with love by our people.

Everyone’s welcome at Bupa Global. We celebrate diversity, welcoming people from all backgrounds. That’s why we’re proud to support Brighton & Hove Pride 2019 – for our customers, our colleagues and for the whole LGBTQI+ community.
