Trans Pride is a not-for-profit, community interest group, here to inspire all trans, intersex, gender variant and queer people to help make a real difference. By promoting equality and diversity through visibility, Trans Pride will educate and eliminate discrimination the Trans community face, and also to celebrate our unique history and gender diversity. Trans Pride Brighton: Putting the T first.
Fox Fisher said: “Now in our 4th year, we’ve had an average increase of 70% each year at Trans Pride Brighton. We are thrilled to announce we are moving to a larger park for our main event this Saturday 23rd July. Having secured the kind support of local residents, this year’s event will take place between midday and 6pm at the delightful Brunswick Square Gardens”.
Events planned for this years Trans Pride include the Opening Night celebrations on 22nd of July as My Genderation & Eyes Wide Open curate fictional and documentary shorts at the Duke of York Cinema, the main Trans Pride event including the March at 12 midday and stalls and entertainment at Brunswick Square Gardens from 12noon until 6pm and a Trans Pride dance party and entertainment hosted by Traumfrau at Phoenix Gallery on the 23rd July. Trans Pride 2016 will close on Sunday 24th July with a BBQ at Marlborough Pub / Beach Picnic (TBC).
