Win £1,000 For Your School
Draw/Paint/Create an A4 picture of what you LOVE about Brighton & Hove

As part of our ongoing community engagement and cultural development, this year Pride are running our first Schools’ Art Challenge for under 12s. The aim is to get children thinking about what they love about their home city and creating a drawing or painting to represent it. The challenge will run from the week before to the week after half term so it can be set as ‘homework’ for the holidays.

This ‘Challenge’ is part of our 2018 Creative Arts & Culture programme involving local artists across all parts of the City and will result in the student winners being exhibited alongside emerging and established artists’ work in the Jubilee library at the end of July. This community outreach campaign will bring together artistic creativity from all parts of the city to support our ongoing drive for inclusivity and reaching new audiences.

We hope that you are inspired to take up the ‘Challenge’ and showcase Brighton & Hove’s great artists of the future.
