The Brighton & Hove Pride Festival is taking place on Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th August 2022 in Preston Park and is part of a much larger weekend of events across the city including the Pride Village Party.

Information will be posted below as plans progress.

Pride Village Party 2022

Brighton & Hove City Council’s review of the Pride Village Party (PVP) that confirmed that it should remain in the same location as the 2019 event. We wanted to let you know that the PVP will be taking place on Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th August 2022.

Our aim, as always, is to run a safe, well-managed event while ensuring that all residents have access to and from their homes, businesses, and venues during the time that the event is taking place.

Resident wristbands

Each household within or bordering the PVP zone will be entitled to up to four resident wristbands as standard, although we will obviously ensure that all residents have full access in the case of larger households, where proof of residency and occupancy is provided. List of eligible streets below.

To ensure you receive the tickets allocated to you, and to make the process easier, we are asking all residents to pre-register for their complimentary PVP wristbands this year.

Register for your Resident/Business wristbands here.

You will then need to collect your wristbands – please take PHOTO ID and proof of residency with you.

Resident Wristband Deliveries.

This year we can only deliver wristbands to those residents who have disabilities and are unable to attend in person any of the collection sessions. We can only deliver when you will be home as wristbands delivered will need to be signed for by the recipient.

Guests, Parties & Special Discount on Additional Wristbands

We appreciate that Pride weekend is a popular time to host guests and hold house parties. To this end we will assist as much as possible, and we are able to offer an exclusive residents’ discount rate for the purchase of additional wristbands for the Pride Village Party at £10 each for your guests so they can also attend the street party activities. These are only available at the Pride Box Office.
