The 2016 Pride Village Party was our city at its very best. Every street, every venue and it seemed every person decked out in rainbow colours as they celebrated Brighton Pride.

A spectacular two day fundraising event, the 2016 Pride Village Party saw St James Street and the city’s iconic seafront Marine Parade closed to traffic for the second year running as tens of thousands of people came together to celebrate at the UK’s most spectacular weekend long Pride event.

The streets were alive with the sounds of Pride as sound systems and venues delivered a hands in the air soundtrack from world class DJs whilst a line-up of sensational international cabaret acts entertained the masses across the PVP with their unbeatable selection of saucy seaside humour from noon till dusk.

Yes the rainbow flags flew as high as our hearts and the sun shone as bright as our Pride as this most amazing of Pride celebrations brought us together once more for a party the city will always remember. A party proud to represent the best of our city, a party proud to fundraise for Pride.
