You are invited to take part in the Pride Diversity Games Rugby Union Tournament on Saturday 23rd July. The format is 15-a-side short-halves played in separate male and female matches. This is a competitive tournament with trophies for winners and runners up, and will be played on University of Sussex pitches.
World Rugby Laws of the game will apply. Qualified referees will be used, in co-operation with Sussex RFU, who are sanctioning the tournament, and ISIRR, the inclusive rugby referees’ society.
This is our first Rugby Union Tournament and we are hoping to run either four or six team leagues with semi and final knock out stages.
We are working with TRANS CAN SPORT to ensure the tournament is as inclusive as possible.
The venue, Sussex University, is located less than 3 miles from Brighton city centre. Public transport access and parking available at the venue.
Tournament information is subject to change depending upon the number of registered teams.
If you have any questions, please contact: chairman@bhssrfc.com
