Production juggernaut MNEK is ready to mark out 2018 as the year that sees hims step centre stage, with confirmation he is to perform at Brighton & Hove Pride on Saturday 4th August.
Making music since the age of nine, Uzoechi “Uzo” Emenike’s (aka. MNEK) professional career has seen him hit dizzying heights, gaining writing credits for some of pop’s biggest names – Madonna, Kylie, Stormzy and Dua Lipa to name a few. Not to mention the fact he co-wrote Beyonce’s single ‘Hold Up’.
London-born MNEK broke out from behind the mixing desk last year with the track ‘Never Forget You’, which saw him sing alongside Zara Larsson – and accumulated over 500 million streams.
He’s since released ‘Tongue’, the first single from his as-yet-unreleased debut album – a song that sizzles with sex and promises plenty more to come. Versatile enough to play deep house one minute, and pure pop and R&B bangers the next, his will be a live show not to be missed.
With three sold-out London shows planned for the summer, along with a string of festival appearances, you don’t want to miss MNEK at this year’s Brighton & Hove Pride Festival.
