Hannah Brackenbury – Victorious
Musical comedy performer brings award-winning Victoria Wood tribute show back to Brighton
Award-winning musical comedy performer Hannah Brackenbury has been tickling the funny bones of Brighton audiences for almost a decade. Her hilarious and heartfelt original songs are the perfect accompaniment to her clever and ever-popular song parodies. She reached the finals of the Musical Comedy Awards in 2016 and picked up the award for Best of the Festival at Brighton Fringe 2018 with Victorious, her joyful and poignant tribute to the late, great Victoria Wood.
So what should people expect from Victorious?
An hour-long one-woman show, Victorious is Hannah, her piano and guitar paying tribute to the late, great Victoria Wood. It’s a mix of poems, original songs and Victoria’s classics and tells the story of how Hannah was influenced as a performer and what she meant to her. There are a couple of poignant moments but it’s an uplifting and joyful tribute to an absolute genius who is sorely missed by so many.
