It’s time to lotion up baby! The Cocoa Butter Club are here to moisturise a dry and dusty performance scene by showcasing and celebrating queer performers of colour!

A high octane cabaret/party/celebration boasting Burlesque, Drag, Spoken Word, [any arts here]. It’s enough to have you screaming “yuss queen, smells like cocoa butter up in hurrrrrr”.

Your host for the afternoon is Sadie Sinner The Songbird. Founder and curator of the cocoa butter club, Sadie performs a seamless repertoire bursting with the rnb, blues, jazz, motown, funk and neo-soul that raised her. Sadie brings entire rooms to their feet with her vocals and vibe compelling you to dance the day away!

Guest artists include:

XANA, a multi-disciplinary live loop musician, sound designer, poet, installation artist and interactive performance artist using field recordings, vocal layering and beatboxing to build improvisational sonic experiences around the theme of memory and bodies.

Symoné is a world record holding international queer super star. She has worked all over the world from the Caribbean, with pop-star Omi, to London’s West End with La Soirée. Cleverly combining roller-skates and multiple hula hoop skills, she uniquely brings a club energy in high energy circus and dance performances having you clapping your hands and shaking your hips along with her!

Sunny The Snakeboy – a male bellydancer, teacher, performer, choreographer and cabaret performer for over 12 years, bringing the east to the west is his unique dance style with snakes, fire and very little clothing!
