Look out for the City Angel flags and support the businesses that have signed up to support Pride with community, social impact and sustainability projects across the City.
Every year the city of Brighton & Hove is awash with rainbow flags as businesses show their support for Pride and the LGBTQ+ community.
Whilst this is a lovely thing to see, there has been some concern raised from the community that commercial brands and even smaller businesses, off licences and bars just show their rainbow colours to cash in on the extra visitors coming into the city to celebrate Pride and don’t contribute anything towards Pride’s fundraising for our local LGBTQ+ community groups.
The new City Angels scheme highlights businesses that will support our community projects all year round.
