Award-winning musical-comedy duo are back! The makers of ‘A History of Horror’, and ‘Glenda & Rita’ are back with their third addition to the Cinebra anthology!

The place? Hollywood. The time? January 6th, 1970. Car salesman turned studio movie-mogul, Princeton Pleasant, established his new business venture with the help of apprentice salesman turned executive producer, Dustin Daniels, and personal assistant turned associate producer, Deborah Dambreville. The studio birthed many films and stars, and reigned the box office for the coming years.

Following Pleasant’s mysterious, untimely death, his protégés, Deborah & Dustin, pioneered the company from strength to strength, with award nominated titles such as ‘The Thrilling Story of Samuel Morse’ to ‘Lesbionage’. Now, on this special anniversary, Dustin & Deborah recall their fondest memories and achievements in front of a live studio audience. This is the televised featurette you’ve all been waiting for: ‘50 Years of Pleasant Pictures’… It all sounds a bit too pleasant, don’t you think?”

“A marvellously anarchic romp.”

“These are broad, but somehow believable, characters with great lines who have a story to tell.”
