Trans Pride Brighton, now in it’s 5th year, have an amazing array of events in July.
As a registered charity run solely by volunteers, Trans Pride aim to inspire all trans, intersex, gender variant and queer people to help make a real difference by celebrating trans lives and gender diversity.
By promoting equality and diversity through visibility, Trans Pride attempts to eliminate discrimination that trans people face.

Launch of Museum of Transology

Thursday 20th July, 7pm-11pm
Open Mic Night
Location: The Yellow Book Brighton, 3a York Place, Opposite St Peters Church.
All performances by trans and non-binary folk. Just turn up on the night and express your interest to be added to the lineup. You can sing, dance, perform poetry, short stories, play an instrument, the sky is the limit (and a small performance area).
There will also be a raffle running alongside this, to raise money for Trans Pride Brighton. Any queeries please contact email@example.com
Accessibility: The Yellow Book is wheelchair accessible except for the very back which has 3 steps to get to a heated smoking area outside (you can also smoke at the front of the building). There are accessible toilets and both toilets are gender neutral.

Trans Pride Park Event (MAIN EVENT)

Join us at the Marlborough Pub at midday to join the march to Brunswick Park. The party in the park featuring music, spoken word, poetry as well as community stalls. (Sorry no dogs allowed in the park except assistance dogs.)

Trans Pride: The Party!
North Laine Brewhouse

Traumfrau is delighted to be hosting the official party for the Trans Pride 2017 weekender. Expect a night of music, DJs, art, crafts and performance! Putting the T first. We’ll be taking over the whole North Laine brewhouse for a long night of fun.

Trans Pride Picnic
Pop down to the Marlborough Pub for a Sunday picnic to say goodbye to new friends, reminisce about the weekend and start dreaming about next year. Come early for free vegan food!
Monday 24th July, 6pm – 1am
Trans Sauna Night
Location: The Brighton Sauna, 75/76 Grand Parade, BN2 9JA
Cost: £15 for standard entry (single entry, once you leave you leave), £16 for a day pass (allowing you to come and go through the day), or £8 for the night owl ticket (late entry after 11pm, for the last two hours)
Once a month The Brighton Sauna opens its doors to trans and non-binary folk and their Significant Others, Friends, Families and Allies (by their invites only).
Come along and meet some people, relax in the jacuzzi, enjoy the steam room and sauna, grab a bite to eat with something freshly cooked, or get up to mischief in one of the private rooms!
A totally non-judgemental space, the Trans Sauna Night is a chance to relax and be as comfortable as you can in your own body. You can chose to be naked, with just a towel, or wear anything that can be worn in water (ie. Swim wear).
Please be aware that it does get very warm downstairs.

Accessibility: The Brighton Sauna has an entry on the main street level where you will find the cafe, chill out area with TV and free water, tea and coffee, the porn cinema, massage room, and one of the dark rooms. It also has an accessible toilet on this level. Down a full flight of stairs is everything else, including showers, the jacuzzi and smoking area.
