Brighton Pride are excited to announce that the team behind the UK’s biggest and most diverse, multi-ethnic club night Urban World are back to host the Urban Dance Tent at the Pride Festival in Preston Park on Saturday 6th August.

Urban World burst onto the LGBT club scene in 2012. It now regularly attracts 1000+ clubbers from black and ethnic minority communities for bimonthly events at the Scala, London.

Urban World Co-Promoter, Patrick Lilley said: “Our entire team were thrilled to be involved last year and excited to be invited back this year.”

DJ Big John said “It was off the hook last year! Can’t wait to come back and make a weekend out of it. It’s great to bring a range of sounds to the club tent from Hip-Hop and Afro-beat to Salsa and Desi Beats. We have a great roster of DJs booked”

Amongst the team returning this year are DJ’s Big John Freeman (WORK), DJ Qu (Urban Des), Smoochie (Lush) as well as resident MC Mad-x. And with more big name DJs and acts due to be added to the Urban Dance Tent line-up the Hip-Hop, Afro-beat, Salsa and Desi grooves are guaranteed to be glorious this Brighton Pride.
