The Sport-Out Games is happening on 19th March, 10:00 – 17:00 at Mile End Park Stadium.
The event is aimed at encouraging LGBT youth (16-21) into sport to tackle the much higher levels of inactivity in the community. This event is being run in partnership with I am Tower Hamlets as a Stonewall Young Campaigner’s project.
The sports involved are Athletics (track/field), hockey, and football, all of this being coached by members of LGBT sports groups.
Gender neutral changing rooms and toilets are being provided by the stadium for those that would prefer this to gendered facilities.
It will provide a great opportunity to socialise with other young LGBT people from across the full spectrum in a safe and welcoming environment.
