Our community makes our Pride shine. Without the support of Brighton & Hove’s diverse LGBT+ community and supporters Brighton Pride wouldn’t be able to deliver record-breaking fundraising year on year or be able to lead the way in campaigning for LGBT+ equality.

As part of Brighton Pride’s on-going commitment to community engagement, a series of consultation meetings will be held on the lead-up to Pride 2017. These meetings are specifically for the community groups and organisations that took part in Pride 2016 or will be taking part in Pride 2017. We want your feedback and input to shape Pride going forward. What can we do differently this year to make Pride better for the community? How can we make Pride work for you?

We take great pride in working with our city’s many and varied LGBT+ community organisations and groups including BLAGGS, Brighton & Hove LGBT Community Safety Forum, Brighton Bothways, Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus, Brighton Gems, Clare Project, FTMB, Lesbian Link Brighton, LGBT Brighton & Hove Network, Lunch Positive, Metropolitan Community Church of Brighton, Older and Out, Peer Action, Rainbow Chorus, Rainbow Families and Zhoosh! You can find out more about the vital work these groups do for our community here.

So join us this year as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the decriminalisation of homosexuality and lets make 2017 a summer of love in Brighton and Hove.

To be sure you’re informed of the community meetings, please add your details here and we’ll send you updates of meeting. Future engagement meetings will be advertised on the Pride website, Pride Facebook page and in GScene Magazine. You may also email Pride with any community related enquiries.
