Hertz UK partners with Brighton Pride as Official Fleet Provider

Hertz, a leading car rental company, has partnered with the UK’s biggest Pride Festival, Brighton & Hove Pride, becoming the event’s first Official Fleet Provider. Hertz UK will provide Brighton & Hove Pride’s organisation team with a fleet of vans for logistics before and during the event. Additionally, community organisations, participants in the Parade and other event organisers will be able to benefit from special vehicle rental rates during the event.

Brighton Pride Festival takes place from 5th to 7th August 2016. The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community event has become the UK’s biggest Pride festival with nearly 300,000 people participating in the celebrations across the city last year.

This year’s event, themed ‘Carnival of Diversity: Uniting Nations’, is expected to attract a huge number of participants, spectators and visitors from across Sussex and further afield. According to Tourism South East, the festival is the biggest event and tourist attraction in Brighton,

Last year’s Brighton & Hove Pride Festival raised a record breaking £100,000 for LGBT and HIV organisations and good causes across Sussex. Beneficiaries included Allsorts Youth Project, Lunch Positive, LGBT Community Safety Forum, MindOut, Peer Action and Clare Project.
