Brighton Pride are very excited to announce that the legendary DJ Paulette will be joining this years stellar star line-up in the Girls Dance Tent. A queen of clubbing since her debut on the decks over two decades ago Paulette has spanned the globe with her maverick selection of upfront tunes. From rare grooves and funk to disco to house and techno, when this international wonder is on the decks you just know the dance will be had.

Her CV is one any DJ would crave, providing the soundtrack to some of the worlds most seminal club nights from Flesh at The Hacienda, The Zap Club, Ministry of Sound’s Rulin, Bagleys, Heaven, Queer Nation, Turnmills, The Cross, Coco Latte, Discotec, The End, Fabric, Cocoon in Frankfurt, Queen Club in Paris and Ibiza’s Privilege, Eden, Pacha, Hotel Es Vive, Zoo Project, Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes, Space and Hotel Es Vive.

She is a star we are honoured to have landing at Brighton Pride 2016. She is a star guaranteed to make our Pride day shine.

DJ Paulette said: “Any event that promotes and supports equality, diversity and giving LGBT+ a loud political voice gets my vote. It gets my double vote because Pride director Dulcie Weaver is one of the best DJs I have ever had the pleasure of working with my DJ career sealed in Brighton with her at the Zap Club back in 1994. I have fond memories of my association with the Wild Fruit and Girls On Top extravaganzas and I will always be proud of being a part of the Brighton LGBT+ scene, it’s like family to me and it’s really good to be back”.
