We are family. The three words that said it all this year tens of thousands celebrated at the world famous Brighton Pride Festival in Preston Park.

It was a Pride event like no other as every aspect of our glorious and diverse LGBT+ community, regardless of gender, creed race, ability of sexual identity, came together for a day filled with music, dance, song, laughter and community.

Where ever you looked Preston Park was filled with wonders as Bears, LGBT families, equality campaigners, cabaret performers, singer songwriters, comics, voluntary organisations, LGBT businesses, the Trans community, poets, artists, youth groups, public services, sports organisations and more celebrated Brighton Pride together.

A proud soundtrack from superstars performers, DJs and musicians including Carly Rae Jepsen, Fleur East, Dua Lipa, The 2 Bears, DJ Fresh, The Freemasons, Stonebridge, La Voix, Lola Lasagne, DJ Paulette, Tom Stephan, Biggy C, Z-Star and many, many more delivered the grooves and the grins that kept the proud crowds happy till dusk.

Headliners Sister Sledge were the icing on our proud glittering cake rounding off a day of celebrations with a truly awesome performance under that stars that had us all coming together as one proud, disco dancing, happy, happy family.

Brighton Pride Festival 2016. A day filled with celebrations as our amazing LGBT community, family and friends came together to fundraise, campaign, connect and party together. A day for us, a day for our amazing Brighton & Hove Pride family.
